Jesus' commission to all believers can be stated no more clearly.  In this commission, Jesus commanded that as we go (wherever we go), we are to be making disciples by baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and teaching all that he commanded us to obey (Matthew 18:18-20).  He ended this by promising that he would be with us, empowering us in this task until the very end.  Westwood takes this commission seriously.  It drives everything we do.

Just after giving this commission, Jesus declared to his followers, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8).  We like to use this verse as a framework for the way we do missions and ministry.  We have attempted to identify what all of these areas are in our own context, making sure we are actively involved in God's mission in each.  Below are some presentations that include a tour of where we served in 2012.

We invite you to explore the presentations below.  You can find out more about how we go for God's glory on our missions blog.  You can visit that blog HERE.
