How?

Student Worship
Sunday Evenings
5:30 – 8:00pm

We kick things off at 5:30pm with small groups that we call disciple6 groups. These groups are broken up according to age and gender and meet together to discuss how the Bible applies to all areas of life. They practice spiritual disciplines together (Scripture memory, journaling, etc.) and pray/encourage one another. If you would like more information about these groups, you can ask Jason!  At 6:20 we enjoy a time of fellowship and fun together in the Family Life Center. Then, at 7:00, we transition to The Well, our student ministry room, for a time of worship wherein students can expect several different elements that promote both fellowship and worship. These elements may include games, videos, worship through music, testimonies, table discussions, and a talk by Jason. Student Worship is a great open door to our ministry for someone who is new to Westwood or to someone desiring to check out our student ministry for the first time.

Sunday School Bible Study
Sunday Morning
9:00 – 10:15am

Sunday School offers an opportunity for small group interaction and discussion.  We are currently using a curriculum written by LifeWay called The Gospel Project Chronological.  It has a comprehensive multi-year plan intended to show how the entire Bible is really just one big story about one main character: Jesus.  For more information about the Gospel Project Chronological, Click HERE.
