Is money a sore subject for you? Does the idea of a sermon on stewardship make your palms sweat? One of the most sensitive nerves in a man’s body is the one which runs from his ear to his wallet. Somebody has rightly said, “The heart of the problem is the problem in the heart.” Regardless of what we have, or how much we have, the question is, “Are we being faithful to our Master in how we handle these resources?”

Is money a sore subject for you? Does the idea of a sermon on stewardship make your palms sweat? One of the most sensitive nerves in a man’s body is the one which runs from his ear to his wallet. Somebody has rightly said, “The heart of the problem is the problem in the heart.”  Regardless of what we have, or how much we have, the question is, “Are we being faithful to our Master in how we handle these resources?” Or better yet, what does our managing skills reveal about our hearts? The area of finances and our management of them can be an area of life where we flounder and stumble greatly, or it can be area of life where we experience spiritual fruitfulness and victory.

4. Jesus, the Judge, rewards those who are faithful

5. Good stewardship is an outward expression of a loving relationship with our Master, Jesus
