  1. How do we see the truth of Proverbs 16:9 played out in Ruth 3? How have you come to understand the balance between planning our way and trusting in the Lord to establish our steps?

 

  1. What is the benefit of having to wait on the Lord? How have you experienced God’s goodness in the midst of waiting?

 

  1. How does this idea of God as redeemer shape or color the Christmas season? What thoughts or responses are stirred within your heart and mind when you hear that term in reference to Jesus?

  1. What fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) do you see in Ruth & Boaz? How can your LifeGroup pray for and help you work to develop these same characteristics?

 

  1. Read John 13:34-35 and Philippians 2:14-16. Ruth and Boaz are recipients of God’s covenant kindness (hesed) AND they offer that kindness and care to others. How can we do this in our homes, our workplace, our community, and our church?
