What We Believe
Westwood Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). As an official statement of doctrine, we affirm the Baptist Faith and Message, 2000. You can read that document in its entirety here. You may also find out more about the SBC here.
Membership at Westwood
Meaningful Membership
Membership at Westwood is more than having your name on a roll. The central command of the Great Commission given to us by Jesus is to “make disciples.” This emphasis on discipleship, and therefore membership in the church, begins here with a membership class where the basics of the Christian life are spelled out, as well as understanding what we believe and how we strive to live that out together. If you feel led to join with the community at Westwood following that class, you will be invited to sign our church covenant.
