- What fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) do you see in Ruth & Boaz? How can your LifeGroup pray for and help you work to develop these same characteristics?
- Read John 13:34-35 and Philippians 2:14-16. Ruth and Boaz are recipients of God’s covenant kindness (hesed) AND they offer that kindness and care to others. How can we do this in our homes, our workplace, our community, and our church?

- How does the idea of the idol of “my family/people/tribe” resonate with and challenge you? How can this lead to our being “Canaanized?” How can we continually assess this and resist this?
- How can we know if our minds, hearts, or actions are being led by the wrong influences? Do you think it is easy to be deceived by the “leaders” we allow to influence us? If so, how?
