  1. How has our continued look to the end God will bring about strengthened you in your walk with Christ? What has it compelled you to do?
  2. What are some various offerings of peace that many have placed their hope in? What makes them so persuasive and dangerous to the hearts and minds of believers?
  3. What does it actually look like for the believer to dress him or herself in the armor that Paul urges us to wear? What do we have to believe about God and the gospel in order to live in these ways?

  3. How should we pray for God’s judgment? How does placing our confidence and hope in his judgment change the way we live and respond to the world and to others?

  1. Read Ephesians 1:15-23 together. How does Paul understand the role of the Spirit in shaping the believer’s life toward what is revealed in Revelation to John? What is our role in pursuing this vision, according to this Ephesian prayer?

 

  1. How should this “seal” change our day-to-day identity in real and tangible ways? Why is an understanding of this “seal” crucial for discipleship and spiritual formation? How does it provide safety in light of God’s wrath?
